Hello, I’m Patrick Oldacre and I am a location sound recordist based in the Midlands / North West with 20 years’ experience working on all aspects of television and film production. I am accustomed to working to tight deadlines and under difficult or sensitive circumstances.
I maintain a state of the art sound kit, customisable for everything from full blown feature film production to on-the-hoof minimal crew documentaries. Comfortable working in a vast array of environments ranging from tropical jungles to sideways rain on Welsh hillsides, I have lived abroad for significant periods of my life and have an innate sensitivity to different cultures.
I can bring a wealth of professional savvy to your shoot and pride myself on my amenable demeanour and patience.
Fully insured, licensed, DBS checked and have undergone BBC Health and Safety training. Registered BBC Supplier with own vendor number.
